This holistic approach enables them to go beyond traditional farming practices and become key contributors to the growth, innovation, and sustainability of the agricultural sector.” I usually conduct a visibility test to assess the level of assistance each student needs, then provide tailored help. Starting from junior high school, I identify promising students and invite them to my farm for hands-on training. As they progress to senior high school, I continue to mentor and educate them in farming practices, crop refinery, and sales techniques. My goal is to empower these young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in agriculture and become self-sufficient entrepreneurs.”
Michael’s impact has been profound, empowering over 100 young people to pursue careers in agriculture and creating a ripple effect of job opportunities for many others. He advocates for a paradigm shift in education, emphasizing the need to identify and nurture talents from an early age, rather than solely focusing on theoretical instruction.
