Trailblazing Women Redefining Cycling in Rwanda
Founded just three years ago, the Ndabaga Women Cycling Team emerged to bridge the gap in women’s cycling in Rwanda. What started as individual support for riders soon evolved into a full team after Coach Edgar Uwambaje saw how many young girls were leaving both school and sport.
Today, Ndabaga is more than a cycling squad — it is a movement nurturing athletes, leaders, and trailblazers for the future. The team embodies strength, resilience, and progress, breaking barriers from Kigali to every corner of Rwanda. On the road and beyond, these riders are not simply competing; they are reshaping the narrative of women in sport and inspiring the next generation.
