In the slums of Katanga, Upclose With Eva Nakato visits a famous boxing champion, Hellen Baleke. Hellen has been empowering women in the ghetto to defend themselves through boxing. Her pursuit for revenge was turned into a passion when she was badly beaten up by a young ghetto man making inappropriate advances at her. Hellen is a Ugandan female boxer popularly known for being the first Ugandan woman to bring home a bronze medal in boxing from the 2019 All African Games.
