During the Covid 19 pandemic, the already scarce access to water became even more acute in the slums of the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Among other things, it now had to be used to wash hands as a way to mitigate the spread of the pandemic. Every drop counts! This video focuses on the special ‘Wash First’ program by Simavi and the Wash Alliance in Kenya. Together with local authorities, a program was started to give 2000 schools and communities access to clean water.
